Born and raised in western Kentucky, I spent my childhood on the waters of beautiful Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake.  I spent endless days barefoot in the creeks around our house and exploring in the game reserve not far from us.  Being outdoors and around water has always been my jam!  A beach trip to Panama City Beach or Ft. Walton Beach was always my favorite vacation.  Never thought I'd actually live in Florida, although the beach was always calling my name.  God had bigger plans for us when an unexpected job offer brought my husband's job here in June of 2022.   It was hard leaving "home" and all we had established there, but thankfully we are to be able to go back to Kentucky quite often.  Moving to Freeport has brought a lot of new experiences and some very special people.  We love all that nature has to offer here and look forward to what all lies ahead!

 

I am beyond thankful to be married to the greatest man on earth.  He is an amazing father to our boys and has been the biggest believer in my journey of becoming more than a little girl with a dream and a Kodak 110 film camera in her hand.  I am an incredibly blessed momma to three wild and crazy boys!  They are my world!!  My oldest is in college and I couldn't be more proud of him.  We decided to homeschool (swore I would never do that haha!) our two youngest boys this year.  It is a decision I am beyond thankful we made.  The time and moments I am able to have with them in this season are priceless!  I am also a Registered Nurse.  Although I am not currently working as a RN, I love educating people about their health.

If I have any spare time, I love going to the beach, hiking, exploring creeks, paddle boarding, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and pretty much anything outdoors.  I also enjoy sewing, making all sorts of crafty things, building things, and believe it or not.....painting.  As in cabinets, furniture and walls!

I pour my heart and soul in to all that I do.  Especially my photography.  I edit each picture myself (no auto settings or AI presets) to ensure they are done to perfection.  I am drawn to natural light photography and being in the moment.  I feel like it captures the "realness" of the moment.
