The Experience
Capturing moments, not poses.
Lifestyle sessions; outdoors or in the comfort of your home, you choose!
I am here to make your session as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Let's work together together to make a session that will give you photos that you will cherish for a lifetime.
What To Expect....
Getting Comfortable
I get it, no one is super comfortable in front of the camera. I'm not....that's why I'm behind it. I try to make every session as relaxed and comfortable as possible. I am able to capture the moment so much better when there are genuine smiles and not a lot of uncomfortable or weird feeling poses. I also always recommend wearing comfortable clothes, and not something new. Through the years I have had so many clients mention they wish the had not worn the new outfit they purchased the day before their session. I'm always happy to help make suggestions if you'd like when it comes to what to wear.
Location
Picking the right location for your session is as important as what to wear. I like for my clients to communicate what kind of feel or look they are wanting for their photos. Maybe you prefer the airy look of the soft afternoon sun in an open field, or a rich deeper background with trees and brush and more saturated colors. Or perhaps you want to do them in the comfort of your home because that is where you feel most comfortable. If you just can't decide, I'm happy to make suggestions and help you pick the perfect location.
Editing Your Photos
Editing is a very important process in photography. Many do not realize what actually goes in to a session after the photos are taken. Taking the pictures is the easy part, editing is definitely the hardest and most time consuming. On average for a 30 minute session I take somewhere between 250-400 pictures. I carefully go through each one picking the best ones for you. Then based on changes in lighting and if there are things that need to be edited out of the photo (boo boos, people in the background, etc), it can take a while to go through each one.
Every photographer has their own style and process for editing. I do not use presents or AI to edit my images.
Most of the time galleries will be delivered within 30 days; however, if very detailed editing is needed or it is a peak time it could take a little longer. I always let clients know ahead of time it could be a longer turn around time.
Receiving Your Images
You picked out the perfect outfits, found the perfect location, and then waited patiently for your images to be perfected. Now.....it is time to receive your gallery! Your gallery will be emailed to you and will be password protected for your privacy. You may share the gallery with those you choose, however I will never share your gallery with someone that requests it.
From your gallery you can view your photos, order prints, and download them to your computer for safe keeping. The large watermark will go away once you download them. It will not print on your photos if you order from the gallery. You will also receive a print release. You are free to print your images from any lab you choose, however I do not guarantee the print quality from other places. Should you order through the gallery, I approve each order for quality and will gladly replace them should you have a discrepancy.
